FSA - Soccer - Spring 24 - Team Portugal U14
We are a recreational Team under the Fulshear Sports Association League. Our group of players have been playing together for 4 past seasons and are now starting our 5th. Last season I tested out hiring and having two local high school players help us out at practice. I did this knowing that its hard for high school athletes to hold a regular scheduled job. And knowing that they would provide a positive image like mentors for the younger players to look up to being from the local schools that they hope to play at in the future. It worked out really well, with those players, the team players and parents all happy with those relationships. As the Coach who decided to test it out on my own, I absorbed the cost myself. So this season I thought I would find a way to fundraise to cover those costs. Additionally, I am big on Team unity, so every season, I have purchased and provided my players with two sets of practice uniforms, so I thought that I could also include that cost in this seasons fundraising effort also. This campaign will also cover new soccer balls, cones, goals and provide the means to have an end of season celebration party. And it will cover the costs of the sponsorship patches for the sponsorship packages.
